      Holiday Makers Market

The South of Downtown Art Hub (The Art Hub) is hosting their second Makers Market on Saturday, November 16, from 1 - 5 pm. The aim of this event is to support and celebrate the creativity of makers in the Near South and Everett Neighborhood as the holidays approach. At the last Makers Market in August, there were 340 people in attendance to support local creatives. The Makers Market is always free for residents to show and sell their work. The Art Hub is excited to be hosting five Family Literacy parents who are selling traditional Mexican food and crafts. All together, the Art Hub will be hosting fifteen makers, thirteen of whom are neighborhood residents. Featured works include: food, wood work, illustrations, jewelry, printmaking and more. Amidst the fun, Jujus Vegan Cajun and Creole Cuisine will be serving food from their pop up kitchen in the Art Hub. As always, just a few yards away at Pepe’s Bistro, 1311 S 11th St, fresh vegan and vegetarian food will be served from 1 - 5pm.
